For the past 14 years at Queensland Rail, Troy has been instrumental in advancing the organisation’s sustainability agenda, including playing a crucial role in the development of its inaugural Sustainability and Decarbonisation Frameworks. He is passionate about driving positive change and is inspired by the increasing commitment of Australian businesses to integrate sustainability into their core operations.
Together with a cross-functional stakeholder group, Troy and his team are spearheading Queensland Rail’s climate risk identification and resilience planning activities. Their focus is on enhancing the organisation’s understanding of emerging risks and opportunities, establishing clear pathways for effective risk mitigation, and preparing the organisation for upcoming climate-related financial disclosures.
