GOLD COAST CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE, QUEENSLAND
MONDAY 25 – WEDNESDAY 27 NOVEMBER 2024
With just over 4,000 delegates from across Australia and New Zealand, the annual conference was a huge success bringing together many rail professionals to share their content, education, and innovations on the vibrant Gold Coast.
AusRAIL 2024 commenced on Monday 25 November at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre in the Gold Coast, Queensland. The conference began with a Welcome to country, followed by an opening address from Australasian Railway Association (ARA) Chief Executive Officer, Caroline Wilkie and ARA Chair, Lucio Di Bartolomeo. Followed by four keynotes Sally Stannard, Tim Parker, Phil Mumford, and Daniel Williams shared insights about the future of rail and QLD including the Gold Coast, national high speed rail, and planning for success – a unique perspective from operator and mantainer of Australia’s first fully automated metro.
