Seating allocation information:
- Table reservations will be exclusively accepted for bookings in multiples of 10 and must be made by a designated group leader.
- Tables will be reserved under the name of the organisation that made the reservation.
- The group leader must provide guest names and dietary requirements via a social function portal by 11 November 2024. The portal will be closed after this date. Details to access the social function portal will be shared via email with the group leader.
- It is the responsibility of the group leader to communicate with the table guests and provide them with their respective table numbers.
- Individual bookings or bookings which do not meet the table allocation requirement for multiples of 10 will have tickets assigned randomly to tables. Requests to sit next to specific individuals or guests will not be accommodated.

We are pleased to announce two new opportunities for site visits on Thursday 28 November. Spaces are limited so early registration is essential.
Tour 1: Gold Coast Light Rail Depot Tour
This 45 minute tour will show you some insights into the operations and maintenance of the high performing Gold Coast Light Rail Depot. Be guided around the depot by a member of the leadership team, providing an overview of the Operational Control Centre, maintenance workshop and upgrade plans for extensions to the depot as part of the Stage 3 extension works. Ask questions of the leadership team on the Gold Coast and how the team continue to set records in performance reliability whilst being guided around the depot.
- Time: Bus departures from Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre at 08.15, returning by 10.45
- Date: Thursday 28 November 2024
- Cost: $30 per person including GST
- Inclusions: Bus transport from GCCEC to/from the Gold Coast Light Rail Depot and the facility tour

- Other: PPE is not required for this tour, however the facility has a zero drug and alcohol policy.
Tour 2: Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) Ormeau rail facility
- Time: Bus departures from GCCEC starting at 08.30, with the first tour starting at approximately 09.45. The tour will run for 45 minutes, with buses returning to GCCEC from 11.30. Individuals will be allocated to tours, which will have staggered departure times.

Priority access for social function tickets
Due to the high demand for tickets to our social functions, AusRAIL 2024 delegates, sponsors and exhibitors will receive priority access to book tickets to AusRAIL social events. This is to ensure that those supporting and engaging at AusRAIL are able to secure social event tickets.
Priority ticket bookings will apply to the following social functions:
- Sunset Soiree – Monday 25 November
- Women in Rail Breakfast – Tuesday 26 November
- Yellow Dinner – Wednesday 27 November
Priority ticket sales for registered delegates, sponsors and exhibitors will remain open until Friday 11 October. If tickets remain available for these events at this time, bookings will open to ARA member organisations on Monday 14 October 2024. If any tickets remain after that point, sales will open to non members on Monday 11 November 2024. We expect all the AusRAIL social events to sell out so encourage prompt bookings. Please note, those booking exhibition visitor passes will not be given priority access to book social function tickets.
