Sussanah Osborne is the Chief Operating Officer at V/Line and a key member of an executive team leading the organisation through a period of sustained growth and modernisation. V/Line is one of Australia’s fastest growing railways – delivering over 2450 rail services and 1500 coach services a week, with a record 26.4 million passenger trips taken in 2024/25.
Sussanah is passionate about building high performing teams, ensuring that V/Line continues to deliver a safe and reliable service for passengers every day. She is frequently out on the network engaging with frontline staff and team members.
Sussanah joined V/Line in July 2025 after 20 years in the mining industry where she worked around the world in technical, commercial and operational roles. Most recently as the Vice President of Latin America and Carribean (LATAC) for Newmont, Sussanah led safety and operational improvements across Peru, Mexico, Suriname and Argentina.
Sussanah has returned home to Australia with her family.
