Stuart Hosie is the Operations Manager leading UGL’s Rail and Technology Systems team that is managing the Sydney Metro Corridor Intrusion Detection and Object Detections System project. Stuart has over 25 years of experience successfully leading teams tasked with delivering new technologies and communications networks for various organisations. Most recently he has managed the UGL teams responsible for the design and delivery of the ETCS Level 2 data network core for Transport for NSW, the design and construction of the wireless networks in the Sydney Metro city tunnels (including O&M network, public safety network and mobile carrier telecommunications network) and the installation of platform screen doors and mechanical gap fillers in the Sydney Metro Southwest corridor. Stuart also manages UGL’s teams responsible for design and construction of power infrastructure, train control systems, signalling, overhead lines, tunnel OMCS systems, and manufacturing of various rail industry products including signals and rectifiers.
