Ankur Kumar is a Technical Principal – Rail Systems Specialist at Interface Rail Engineering (IRE), with over 18 years of experience in signalling and systems integration across Australia and Asia. Before joining IRE in 2022, he spent 14 years with Alstom Transport delivering CBTC & Signalling design, Testing, and commissioning, systems integration, and maintenance on major international projects. Ankur has contributed to several GoA4 CBTC deployments—including Sydney Metro, Kochi Metro, Singapore TEL, Hong Kong SIL, and the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project—as well as GoA2 Signalling systems in Delhi, Jaipur, Taipei, Shanghai, and Bangalore.
