Bradley Smith is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and began as an RF engineer on the Optus mobile 2G network over a 20 year period. He was Principal Telecommunications Engineer on the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane from 2020 to 2024. While on Cross River Rail he developed an interest in EMC to extend his radiofrequency experience, applying it to the rail industry. Bradley has participated in ARISO Standard reviews such as Communications in the Rail Corridor and EMC Management, amongst others. He is currently working with Queensland Rail and Sydney Trains on their digitalisation strategy.
