Steve has over 42 years of global rail experience across the UK, Middle East, India, USA, Australia, and Asia Pacific. As Managing Director of John Holland Rail & Transport, he leads the full rail portfolio—engineering, design, construction, operations, and maintenance—while driving strategic growth, bidding, and daily operations. He holds full P&L accountability for the Rail division and its joint ventures. Previously, Steve was Global Transport MD at Serco, overseeing its international transport business. A seasoned Board Director, he has added value through oversight of major rail contracts and enhancement programs in heavy and light rail/metro, ensuring customer satisfaction and commercial success. Steve brings deep expertise in frontline operations and corporate leadership, with a proven ability to motivate high-performing teams and foster a results-driven culture.
