Lester Lim is Head of Digital Services, Asia Pacific in Siemens Mobility. He is responsible of the digital service business across Asia Pacific region, looking at digital transformation and creating values through technology for customers. He leads the capability build-up of digitalisation within Asia Pacific to support Siemens Mobility’s digital business growth and strategies.
Concurrently he is also Global Product Manager for Digital Asset Management for Rail System, driving the digital product requirement, roadmap and pipeline.
Prior to joining Siemens Mobility, Lester spent 11 years in SMRT Corporation, taking on various technical and management roles. An experienced Chartered Engineer in Rolling Stock domain, Lester has built in-depth technical know-how ranging from maintenance, engineering to project management. He was instrumental in establishing a joint venture business collaboration with Faiveley Transport (Wabtec) and operationalise the business unit to deliver maintenance, repair and overhaul services for South East Asia customers.
