John has enjoyed more than 16 years in the rail industry. At Network Rail (UK) he was responsible for the Intelligent Infrastructure programme, delivering a successful monitoring solution for more than 10,000 network assets.
In 2018 John joined the voestalpine Railway Systems group, initially as CEO of the UK signalling company and most recently Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Digital Track Solutions division.
John holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is passionate about the global transformation of railways through the safe, reliable and innovative application of digital technologies.
