Improving performance for passengers today and into the future is a priority at Metro Trains Melbourne. Rob Hill is the General Manager – Network Performance. He leads the team responsible for ensuring the Metropolitan rail network runs safely and reliably, to keep Melbourne moving. With a continuous improvement a priority, Rob’s team focuses on Metro’s Annual Performance Improvement Plan (APIP) to ensure that every second counts. Rob has 28 years of experience in rail, spanning across rail freight at Aurizon, iron ore with BHP and has spent the last 6 years working in passenger rail throughout Victoria. He was the former General Manager Train Services at V/line before moving to MTM in May last year in his current role.
