Kevin Kashani is Manager, Railway Geotechnics, at Loram Technologies, Inc. Kevin got his PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2016. Dr. Kashani has over 15 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, industry and research. He has been conducting research on Railroad Geotechnics since 2013 and is an author and co-author of more than 20 journal papers in both fields of Geotechnical Engineering and Railway Geotechnics. Kevin joined Loram in 2014 and has been performing analysis on substructure maintenance management and Railway Geotechnics. Kevin is also a committee member of AREMA (Committee 1: Roadway and Ballast) and Standing Committee on Railroad Track Structure System Design of Transportation Research Board since 2016.
