Joel has been involved in the Gold Coast Light Rail since 2013 when he first started as the Senior Project Engineer for the rail infrastructure scope for the construction of Stage 1. He is currently employed as the Technical Director for Keolis Downer in the operations phase of the project. Joel holds Bachelors Degrees in Engineering (Hons) and Business Management. He has a range of experience across small and multi-billion dollar projects across Australia, with a strong focus on activity coordination, asset management and systems implementation. He is a Certified Practicing Engineer (CPEng) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
