Daniel is a senior board level executive with over 30 years transport and infrastructure industry experience, occupying key leadership positions across the United Kingdom (UK), North America and Australasia.
This includes most recently as the Chief Executive Officer for Metro Trains Sydney (MTS), leading the team that successfully opened the M1 Northwest and Bankstown Line on 19 August 2024. Under Daniel’s leadership, MTS has delivered consistently high levels of customer satisfaction, safety and service performance across the operations and maintenance contract with Sydney Metro – Australia’s first automated railway and the country’s biggest public transport project.
Through a collaborative leadership style and effective communication, Daniel successfully leads culture, leadership and behavioural change programs in large organisations, evidenced with impressive results in Top Employer Awards and Employee Satisfaction Surveys.
