A graduate Dipl.-Ing. Engineer, Hendrik’s career is marked by active involvement in international standardization committees (such as ETSI and UNITEL) and high-profile GSM-R deployments across Europe, spanning both trackside infrastructure and complex on-board equipment (OBU) integration. Today, based in Australia, he applies his deep technical insight to help rail operators navigate complex infrastructure transformations. At AusRAIL 2026, he delivers strategic insights into the roadmap and migration path towards the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS).
