Alan Trestour

Alan Trestour is a senior transport and infrastructure leader with more than 25 years of experience delivering major rail and urban mobility programmes across Australia and New Zealand. He has extensive expertise across the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, delivery, commissioning, and operational readiness. Most recently, Alan played a key leadership role in the delivery of Auckland’s City Rail Link, leading Delivery and Programme Readiness activities for Auckland Transport within the One Client Alliance. His portfolio includes Sydney Metro West, Sydney Metro Northwest and City, Sydney Light Rail, the Automatic Train Protection Programme, More Trains More Services, and the Waratah Train Programme. Alan has also led major organisational and business transformation initiatives, including the Sydney Trains Reform Programme. His experience spans signalling, communications, power systems, rolling stock, maintenance, and asset management. Recognised for his collaborative and delivery-focused leadership style, Alan is skilled at aligning stakeholders and leading complex, high-profile programmes to successful outcomes.
