We specialize in monitoring cars, trucks, containers and trainsets. We have developed a Smart Wagon® solution concept for the railway sector. This system places the main communication unit on the wagon, where it communicates with various sensors according to customer requirements. The sensors provide information on position and movement, climatic conditions (temperature and humidity inside the cargo compartment), wagon space utilisation (loaded/unloaded status) or precise load measurement using a strain gauge sensor. The system provides continuous access to information during operation, identifies potential failure risks (e.g. overheating of bearings), checks wheel rotation (wheel flattening detection), brake lining wear and handbrake application speed.
