RISSB supports and works hand in hand with the Australian and New Zealand rail industry to provide the essential tools rail organisations need – good practice Standards, Codes of Practice, Guidelines and Rules.
The only accredited Standards development organisation for the rail industry in Australia, RISSB has a vast catalogue of more than 200 publications, all of which help industry improve safety, reduce costs and increase productivity and efficiency. RISSB publications can also be used in New Zealand.
RISSB fosters knowledge sharing and networking through its various forums, groups and committees and works collaboratively with the Australian rail industry to harmonise safety practices across the country.
