Andrew Pearce

Andrew Pearce is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and Chartered Engineer with more than 25 years’ experience delivering major multidisciplinary infrastructure programs across the built environment, transport, resources and Defence sectors. He has held senior leadership roles across design, construction, commissioning and contract management in both public and private sectors.
As Project Director at Canberra Metro Operations (CMET), Andrew leads the operational and accreditation functions of Canberra Light Rail expansion, overseeing engineering, asset management, contract delivery and regulatory compliance elements. He leads multidisciplinary teams and specialist contractors, delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective outcomes through strong governance, stakeholder engagement, financial stewardship and long-term asset planning.
