Tour 3: South Dynon – V/Line Train Maintenance Facility

Host: Alstom and V/Line, with support from DTP

This tour will allow delegates to tour the new Train Maintenance Facility at South Dynon and showcase the Stage 2 upgrade works underway, including the upgraded bio-wash. This facility is significant as it will serve as the primary train maintenance facility for Australia’s largest regional rail operator.

PPE Requirements

  • Long trousers and long sleeve shirt
  • Steel Caps advisable – closed-toe, flat shoes to be advised once tours have been allocated
  • Glasses, high-vis vests and hats will be supplied by the tour host
