Railways from Spain is an initiative supported by ICEX — the Government of Spain’s agency for foreign trade and investment — and the Economic and Trade Commission of Spain in Australia to strengthen the presence of the Spanish railway sector in the country.
The initiative showcases the innovation and expertise of a highly competitive industry, promoting collaboration with the Australian rail ecosystem. It brings together leading companies such as GMV, Zitron, Optimus, Teltronic, Ineco and Renfe, offering capabilities across the full rail value chain, including engineering, consultancy, rolling stock, signalling, infrastructure, operations and maintenance.

With more than 1000 customers across 35 countries, GMV is a leading manufacturer and integrator of Intelligent Transportation Systems for Railways. GMV’s in-house railway solutions have a strong presence in the global market, supporting leading clients across both the public and private sectors in countries such as Australia, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Spain, among others.
