Jill’s background is in manufacturing. She was a partner in an engineering company which supplied a complex range of components to all major Rail OEMs for nearly 2 decades.
Jill is a passionate supporter of local manufacturing. She was appointed to the Victorian Premiers Jobs and Investment Panel in 2015 serving until 2019.
In 2018 Jill was awarded the inaugural Victorian Women Manufacturer of the Year which recognises the contribution of women in manufacturing.
Jill is an active mentor to women across various industries, including both established leaders and those on the road to success. In August 2019, Jill was appointed Victorian Rail Advocate. Jill chairs the Rail Industry Development Advisory Committee (RIDAC) – an independent committee which directly and independently advises the Minister for Public Transport. The Committee was established to improve the engagement and collaboration between government, industry and the education sectors.
