Stephen Howe currently works as the Director Engineering & Program Services Management Systems for the Level Crossing Removal Project in Melbourne, Victoria. His role encompasses the development of program-wide improvements to systems for knowledge access and management and contributes to the systemisation of innovation and sustainable project design and delivery solutions.
He has a varied 34-year career history which includes many years in multi-disciplinary consulting firms as a regional manager and transport sector principal, as well as experience in running large and dispersed maintenance teams in both the rail and municipal sectors. He also has experience in asset management systems implementation, and his past project types span from planning studies, project approvals and design through to construction, operation and decommissioning within the transport, water, mining, energy, manufacturing and property development industries.
