Sharon is civil engineer and hands-on rail specialist with over 20 years’ experience working Client-side and for Tier 1 contractors in senior engineering and supervisory roles on the delivery of some of Australia’s most significant rail projects, including Sydney Metro Northwest, Glenfield to Leppington Rail Line and the Epping to Chatswood Rail Line.
Sharon has also had significant experience in early planning and design development for tenders and projects for Sydney Metro, Melbourne Metro and Inland Rail. She has a record of success in brownfield and greenfield rail environments, bringing an excellent understanding of the interdependencies between design, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance, and the need to effectively manage stakeholders and third-party interfaces.
Sharon champions innovation and has developed a track record for working across different disciplines to develop innovative solutions to secure high-performance outcomes in the early stages of projects, to reduce risk during delivery and improve operational readiness outcomes.
