Montserrat Elbas Yague is a Senior Railway Engineer with more than 19 years’ experience in railway industry.
Montserrat current is Solution Architect in Siemens’ Sales & Tendering team where she is responsible for selecting the best products to meet all client requirements and, when possible, exceed client expectations.
Before her current assignment, she was responsible of managing the internal and external interfaces as System Interface Engineer in the High-Capacity Signalling project in Victoria. And in previous roles, she was managing the engineering teams, as Project Engineer, of several European Train Control System (ETCS) projects in Spain and Chile and has collaborated in the development of the CBI (Computer Based Interlocking) software as CBI Subject Matter Expert in several CBTC and Conventional signalling projects in USA, Canada, and Spain. She is totally committed to safety and always takes an ethical approach. She is a person enthusiastic about the railway industry.
