Julien Morizet is a chartered professional engineer with 21 years of international rail experience. After he completed his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Julien held engineering, planning and operational roles in major railway companies in France, The Netherlands and Switzerland. He relocated to Australia in 2018 to join WSP as a rail operations and planning consultant. During his career, Julien has led several projects to increase networks capacity for passenger and freight trains, particularly in Switzerland and Australia, by proposing cost-effective and realistic solutions. He is also the national capability lead for rail operations and planning at WSP Australia.
