I’ve embarked on a career in construction during my undergraduate years where I got my hands dirty and learnt the intricacies of construction from ground up (literally) and laid the foundation of my future endeavours. Joining John Holland as a graduate engineer marked my commitment to learning, growth and the pursuit of excellence, and had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, expanding my skillset and knowledge base. Had to navigate uncharted waters in 2020 where the pandemic posed unique challenges to professionals globally, and facilitated a shift in the industry paradigm where adaptability and resilience were paramount to success. It called for innovative thinking and a commitment to efficiency and stream-lining processes – a visionary’s dream. Extending beyond my passion for efficiency is my advocacy and vocality for making the construction industry not only just diverse but also more attractive for all. May we all continue to drive to challenge the status quo.
