Amy is a registered Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience in Human Factors projects including major rail infrastructure and rollingstock upgrade programs. Amy has provided support to rail safety investigations and safety culture programs and co-designed the Fair Decision Framework for implementation within Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink. Amy completed a PhD in Human Factors (UNSW Australia) while being engaged in research projects in Road Safety, Patient Safety, and Human Error and Distraction. Within the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA), Amy has served on the Board and currently holds the position of NSW Branch Chair.
